Parent Testimonial

“Little by little, you helped my son talk, call me ‘Mom’ for the first time, follow instructions, learn. Thank you from the bottom of my heart....for opening up the world to my son.”

PALS Parent – SF Bay Area

The PALS Difference

PALS personnel helped pioneer Early Intensive Behavioral Therapy (EIBT) services in Northern California, and offer world-class expertise to our clients and families.

Hundreds of new ABA agencies have sprung up in the past years, and an alarming percentage of them offer severely restricted and ineffectual programs. PALS personnel are EIBT experts, who provide all the critical components of an intensive ABA program, including: 1) One-to-one discrete-trial instruction;  2) aided integration into typical preschool classes; 3) aided socialization sessions with neurotypical peers; and 4) the functional analysis of disruptive behavioral issues.

Our Director
Gregory Buch, Ph.D., entered the EIBT field when it was practiced solely in the research labs of UCLA. Dr. Buch served as Clinic Supervisor and Assistant Director of the UCLA Clinic for the Behavioral Treatment of Children, under the direction of autism treatment pioneer Ivar Lovaas. Over the past 20 years, Dr. Buch has directed intensive early intervention programs, published on intensive behavioral treatment, and consulted nationally and internationally for school districts, treatment facilities and research clinics.
